Apple Vehicle Motion Cues feature gives relief from motion sickness know how it will work

Vehicle Motion Cues Feature : It is often seen that some people get nervous while using the phone in the car. Due to this problem, people have to face a lot of trouble while traveling.

Apple brought new feature

If you are traveling somewhere and you have to do some work on your device, but you know that using a smartphone or tablet will cause nervousness and nausea. In such a situation, people are not able to use the device while traveling in a car, but if you are an iPhone user then you can avoid this problem. Actually, to get people out of this problem, Apple has introduced the (Vehicle Motion Cues) feature.

The company has included the Vehicle Motion Cues feature in the new iOS 18 operating system. With its help, people who use Apple devices will get relief from nausea and nervousness. So let’s know how this feature works.

How does the Vehicle Motion Cues feature work?

According to the company, research has shown that motion sickness in a car is usually caused by a sensory conflict between what a person sees and what he feels. These features use the sensors present in your iPhone and tablet to detect a moving vehicle.

As the vehicle moves, animated dots appear on the edges of the screen. These dots move with the vehicle’s motion, giving your eyes another signal of motion besides the screen. This reduces the sensory conflict between the eyes and the body and hopefully reduces anxiety when using the device in a moving vehicle.

How to activate Vehicle Motion Cues

  • Go to Control Center by swiping up from the top-right corner of the screen, or swiping up from the bottom of your iPhone’s Home button.
  • Once in Customize mode, press and hold any empty space in Control Center and then tap Add Control at the bottom.
  • Swipe up to the Vision Accessibility control, then select Vehicle Motion Cues.
  • Apart from this, you can directly go to Settings, Accessibility and then Motion and turn on Vehicle Motion Cues.
